Having studied Fashion and Fabrics, Pamela accepted her first professional appointment in the Costume Department of The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, where she gained considerable knowledge of all aspects of a production costume department in repertoire theatre.

Leaving to pursue a freelance career Pamela worked for many major theatre companies in Scotland before being appointed Deputy Wardrobe Manager at Glyndebourne Opera in 1987. She was promoted to Head of Costume in 1998, a post she held for seven years before resuming her freelance career together with launching her own collection and continuing with her interior design projects.

During her period at Glyndebourne Opera Pamela was fortunate to work with leading international directors and designers on internationally acclaimed productions.

Her work has taken her to The Metropolitan Opera, New York; Le Chatelet, Paris; La Scala, Milan; Opera de Lyon; The Royal Opera House and National Theatre, London and many other leading opera houses.

Aside from her work for theatre and opera she has also worked on several major ballets and for film and television. Her most recent work for television included an interior design make-over show.

Pamela's strengths lies in her knowledge and commitment to each project, together with an exacting eye for detail and a passion for period costume design and textiles.
